Oxford Spires members paint their fingernails purple

Welcome to the Oxford Spires website!

We hope these pages will show you some of the activities we enjoy as part of Rotary International in Britain and Ireland (RIBI), Rotary District 1090, and as a small group of people who like to get involved in fun fundraising events and community activities. These events can support local, national and international charities and not-for-profit groups.

Oxford Spires caught on film!

Have a look at Rotary's "We're for Communities" video on YouTube. You'll see a few Spires members at exactly 1 minute into the film - for 3 seconds!

World Pooh Sticks Championships

Why not also visit our Pooh Sticks website where you will find details of the Annual World Pooh Sticks Championships. The 31st championships on 30th March were a huge success, the river levels had dropped, the sun was out all day and there were smiles everywhere.

Our Meetings

Our club meetings are held at the University Club in Mansfield Road in Oxford. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Tuesday of each month at 8pm and we meet from 7pm for a drink and dinner.
Visitors are always welcome, and we think that the guest speaker evenings on the 4th Tuesday of the month are more interesting for first-time visitors. Please contact us in advance, particularly if you wish to join us for dinner.
