Oxford Spires
Rotarians from Oxford, Bicester, Abingdon & Witney
Events 2011-12
This is what we've done so far this year:
- Yet another successful Truck Festival for Spires, this time for 3 days in July 2011
- We organised marshalling at the Blenheim Palace Bike Ride in August 2011 with help from other local clubs
- We are taking part in the District darts competition from September to December 2011
- We went carol singing in Woodstock on 16th December 2011 to raise funds for the Heart Centre Appeal at the John Radcliffe Hospital
And we are planning:
- We will be going to the District Conference in March 2012
- We will be organising the Pooh Sticks World Championships in March 2012
- We will help at the Stroke Awareness Day in April 2012
- We will be helping the Rotary Club of Abingdon Vesper at their Dragon Boat Racing in May 2012
